FREE inflatable cave installation in central Paris
Age suitable for 👶 0-1 | 👶 2–3 | 🧒 4–6
French artist JR has transformed the area around Pont Neuf into a giant inflatable “cave” installation that families can walk through for free.
The immersive artwork creates the illusion of huge rocky tunnels appearing in the middle of Paris and is especially fun with young kids thanks to the scale, echoing spaces and playful visual effect.
It’s an easy stroller-friendly stop if you’re already exploring central Paris, and works best as a short 20–40 minute wander rather than a full outing.
🎟️ FREE entry, no booking needed
☔ Rain-safe: No — fully outdoors
⏱️ Duration: 20–40 mins
😴 Nap-friendly: Yes — easy short stop while exploring central Paris
🍼 Stroller-friendly: Yes — flat riverside/pedestrian access around Pont Neuf and the installation area
6th–28th June 2026📍 Pont Neuf, Paris (13e)

**NEW** Opened this month! Paris baby Café Otipi Auteuil
Age suitable for 👶 0-1 | 👶 2–4
Tots City Guide is already a big fan of the two ÔTIPI baby cafes – and this week there is a new baby cafe welcomed into the family – ÔTIPI Auteuil in the 16th arrondissement, Paris.
Designed especially for babies, toddlers and young children, combining a cosy coffee shop with play areas, toys and regular parent-child workshops. Unlike many cramped Paris cafés, the whole concept is built around families, making it feel genuinely relaxed and welcoming with under-6s.
GOOD TO KNOW: If it’s similar to the other ÔTIPIs, we found it’s best suited for younger kids under 4 as not loads to do for older kids.
☔ Rain-safe: Yes — fully indoors
⏱️ Duration: 1-3 hours
😴 Nap-friendly: Yes — calm atmosphere and space for babies although the buggies need to be stored away, so not possible for kids to sleep in the buggy.
🍼 Stroller-friendly: Yes — designed for families with young children, there’s storage for buggies.
3 Avenue Théophile Gautier, (16e), Tuesday–Friday: 9:30am–1:30pm & 2pm–7pm Saturday: 9:30am–7pm. More info HERE
