1. Louvre kiddie room (The Studio)

Visiting The Louvre with young kids is no mean feat, escape the crazy Mona Lisa crowds to the peaceful haven of The Studio, a dedicated space for creativity. Here children can sit and colour / draw and more. 2. Big Tuileries play area for all ages 

Parents can breathe for a moment amongst the Tuileries’ trees, while little kids lose themselves in this big play area – with something for all ages . 3. *Season dependent* Fête de l’été à Paris / Tuileries funfair

There’s 60+ attractions to enjoy at this central Paris funfair, it’ll be on throughout the 2026 summer months.

4. Family space at Musée de l’Orangerie

It’s a little known secret that the Musée de l’Orangerie has a family room, with cosy cushions, books, games and arty activities to suit kids of all ages.

5.  Trampolines at the Tuileries

Outside trampolines amongst the gorgeous Tuileries’ trees – jumping doesn’t get better than this! 3 Euros for 5 minutes (although they can be a bit more generous with time if your kid is not too annoying and if it’s quiet), bring cash – minimum 10 Euros on card.

6. Tuileries carousel

Of course no day out in Paris with a toddler or young child is complete without a ride on a carousel – and there’s one right here in the Tuileries garden. TIP: Buy tickets in bulk for cheaper rides.

7. Rent a tiny sailboat on the Grand Bassin

Rent a teeny sailboat to sail on the Grand Bassin in Tuileries Gardens. 6 Euros for half an hour. Open April – November.
