I would say, it depends on your budget, and child, to whether you want to do a guided tour of Paris with your toddler or young child.
If you want a low-cost, low-risk option, consider the hop-on, hop-off bus or family-friendly boat guides (see above).
If you want a fun way to explore Paris museums, but your kid is too young to wander around and enjoy it, consider visiting one of these Kid-friendly Paris museums
If your children are a bit older than toddler age (4+) and you have the budget, maybe a private guided tour is worth it for you.
