Planning a Paris with kids? A family friendly tour can be the perfect way to explore the city. From open-bus tours, to museum treasure hunts, here’s some top picks for tots.

A Paris bus tour is not only a fun way to see the city, but it can always be a practical way to get around. The Paris metro can be really tricky to navigate with kids, (with lots of steps and confusing directions), so a hop-on-hop-off Paris bus tour could be the solution.

Suitable age for kids: There is no strict minimum age to join in the tour, but as tickets start at 4 years, this suggests the tour is more suitable from this age (but to be honest, I know loads of bus-obsessed 2-3 year old’s who would LOVE this).

I would say, it depends on your budget, and child, to whether you want to do a guided tour of Paris with your toddler or young child.

If you want a low-cost, low-risk option, consider the hop-on, hop-off bus or family-friendly boat guides (see above).

If you want a fun way to explore Paris museums, but your kid is too young to wander around and enjoy it, consider visiting one of these Kid-friendly Paris museums
