Valentine’s Day ACTIVITIES WITH Kids in Paris (Family-Friendly Guide)

The most romantic city in the world – of course there are tons of things to do for Valentine’s Day! From creative workshops to family-friendly outings, the city offers plenty of Valentine’s Day events for kids in Paris – celebrating love, friendship, flowers and fun together.

This free event allows the family to explore at Jardin des Serres d’Auteuil, with buggy friendly paths inside the gardens.

Events include:

Colorful orchid exhibition
Bright flowers, big leaves, and the palmarium space are very visual and engaging for little ones.

Greenhouse visit (short & flexible)

Laboratory discovery
A simplified introduction to how orchids grow, often adapted so children can watch and ask questions without needing prior knowledge.

Treat the kiddies to some world class Valentine’s Day themed Paris chocolates

The world famous Ladurée has created two Valentine’s Day: the Ispahan Heart for Two and the Heart-Shaped Praline Brioche. Available only via Click & Collect in Paris from February 11th.

It doesn’t get more romantic than Ballet! On Valentine’s weekend, is this Baby Gala Ballet, with real ballerinas and a real orchestra. Don’t miss out – grab your tickets quick!  Duration: 45 minutes.

FUGA restaurant – views of the eiffel tower

At Champs De Mars you can picnic with views of the Eiffel Tower, with picnic lawns, and plenty of space to run and kick a ball. You can also tack on a fun puppet show nearby at Marionnettes du Champ de Mars Paris – see below.

If it’s raining on Valentine’s Day, these are some family friendly restaurants with views of the Eiffel Tower:

Francette – floating barge on the Seine – will keep the kids amused watching the boats go by.

Le New York (16e) Highly rated from parents – with Eiffel Tower views!

Not necessarily Eiffel Tower views – but this more budget-friendly Italian restaurant Chez Pippo (7e) is highly rated by parents and just around the corner from Le Tour Eiffel

Take a stroll, a sniff and pick out a beautiful bouquet of flowers with your little ones. A fun Valentine’s Day activity with kids and SO PARIS.

What could be more romantic than a good old fairytale! At the theatre in Champs De Mars (near the Eiffel Tower), you can see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Blanche Neige et les Sept Nains). With the following shows available:

February dates: Tuesday 4th, Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th, Wednesday 11th, Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th

Little Bookstars have two dates where they’re hosting Valentine’s themed storytime sessions in English in Versailles. With love-themed stories, songs and a few surprises along the way…
