Musée d’Orsay Family Room
During the October school holidays, the Musée d’Orsay‘s grand salle des fêtes is transformed into a huge play and discover space for kids. There’s stations to be creative, along with a library area with tons of cushions and corners with boxes full of toys!
TIP: First Sunday of each month (2nd November) entry is free to the museum – but must book in advance
TIP: Book tickers in advance to avoid queuing (they are LONG) – although if you are with a buggy and ask nicely they hopefully will let you skip!
Cost: The entry to the family room is included with a Musée d’Orsay ticket, starting from 11 euros for locals over the age of 18 (free entry for under 18s) . From Saturday 18th October – Sunday 2 November 2025

October Family Days at the Hippodrome Paris
An absolute must for little horse lovers! Head over to this Paris Hippodrome for family friendly days out, with entry for just 5 euros, including a carousel, fun horse related activities and a chance to walk alongside the jockeys themselves!

Paris à Belém – climate themed exhibition at Hôtel de Ville
A FREE exhibition to mark 10 years since the adoption of the Paris Agreement at COP21 – a turning point in global commitment to climate change.
Designed with children in mind, young visitors will be guided by Copi, a little character featured in their free ‘game’ booklet – along with a space to be creative too.
Cost: FREE but must book in advance here. On until 13 December 2025.
