Parc Astérix Peur sur le Parc (Fear in the Park)

Parc Astérix in October is also a Halloween fest, with ‘Fear in the Park’. This park is arguably much less busy (and cheaper) than a Disneyland hit… Come for Halloween decor, (feat. pumpkins galore), haunted houses, special themed characters roaming the park – and more!

La Mer de Sable
Head our North East of the city and you’ll discover La Mer de Sable. A vast wild west/ desert inspired theme park. For Halloween they’ve really gone all out, with spooky decorations with 2,000 pumpkins and hundreds of chrysanthemums in a nod to Day of the Dead. But this may be a bit much for some young kids – check out the photos on La Mer de Sable Facebook before you book to decide if your kid is gonna be squealing with joy or fear as it can be a bit overwhelming for some young children…
Note, it’s a good day trip / weekend job as this park is at least an hour’s drive or just under 2 hours on the train (from central Paris).
