La Fête des Tuileries
Age suitable for 👶 2–3 | 🧒 4–6+
This traditional funfair fills the Jardin des Tuileries with classic rides for all ages, including, a giant Ferris wheel, carousels, trampolines, bumper cars and sweet treats like churros, crêpes and candyfloss. It’s a fun stop after exploring the Louvre or Tuileries Garden, with attractions for all ages.
GOOD TO KNOW: Most rides at the funfair are on the pricier side (many are around €5 or more). If your little ones are just after a carousel ride, head to the Tuileries Carousel just around the corner – it’s €3 per ride (or even cheaper if you buy a pack of tickets).

Little Films Festival

A film festival created just for young children, bringing together short animated films, gentle storytelling and family-friendly screenings. Many participating cinemas also offer adapted sessions that are shorter and less overwhelming for little ones. A great idea to have in your back pocket also in case of a rainy day or another Paris heatwave!

Running throughout the summer, Paris en Seine sees the transformation of parks, squares, and riverbanks across the city to summer hubs, with hundreds of free activities.

L’Été du Canal
From this weekend, the canals of northeast Paris transform into giant outdoor playgrounds, with FREE and low-cost activities.
Families can enjoy activites such as:

- Pop-up beaches
- Giant games

Pestacles at Parc Floral (musical festival for kids)
Age suitable for 🧒 4–6+ (but bring younger kids to shows if they can sit through a performance)
One of Paris’s best summer events for families, Pestacles is a free outdoor music festival for children held every Wednesday from late June to early September in the beautiful Parc Floral. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy live music, musical storytelling, and interactive performances in a relaxed garden setting before exploring the park’s playgrounds, miniature train, peacocks, and botanical gardens.
NOTE: Most performances are recommended for children aged 6+, but younger siblings are welcome, and many preschoolers enjoy the music and open-air atmosphere.
*TOP SHOW FOR KIDS UNDER 6* The 8th July performance, Cette nuit une chouette m’a dit, is recommended from age 4 and is the best choice for younger children.

One of Paris’s most beloved family attractions is finally back! After a major renovation, the new Cité des Enfants 2–6 ans finally reopened last week with five immersive play worlds designed to spark curiosity, creativity and early scientific thinking. The re-designed space has been created specifically for younger children, with a calmer, more intuitive layout and even a quiet zone for when little ones need a break.

- Sensory water play
- Imaginative workshops
- Forest-themed area
- Zones to encourage building experimenting and problem-solving.

Illusion exhibition at Grand Palais
Age suitable for: 👶 0–1 | 👶 2–3 | 🧒 4–6+
One of the most fun, immersive, and family-friendly art exhibitions in Paris this summer. Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich transforms the Grand Palais into a giant playground of optical illusions, mirror tricks and interactive installations that invite visitors to become part of the artwork.
Children can “climb” a Parisian building, explore floating boats, wander through mind-bending spaces and discover how perspective can completely change what they see.
With 14 immersive installations designed to be experienced rather than simply observed, this is contemporary art is playful, accessible (and great for fun family photos!).

Immersive LEGO® exhibition in Paris

Bricks of Wonder brings together more than 150 incredible LEGO® creations by renowned artist Dirk Denoyelle, built from over two million bricks. Expect giant sculptures, realistic portraits, famous artworks recreated in LEGO®, interactive displays and a robotic camera arm that reveals tiny details hidden within the builds.

Tots City Guide is already a big fan of the two ÔTIPI baby cafes – and this week there is a new baby cafe welcomed into the family – ÔTIPI Auteuil in the 16th arrondissement, Paris.
Designed especially for babies, toddlers and young children, combining a cosy coffee shop with play areas, toys and regular parent-child workshops. Unlike many cramped Paris cafés, the whole concept is built around families, making it feel genuinely relaxed and welcoming with under-6s.

Newly opened in the 9th arrondissement, Bulles & Billes baby café is a beautifully designed indoor play space in Paris for babies, toddlers (and kids up to around 10 years).
There are seven themed “bubbles” to explore including sensory play, creative workshops, soft play, music and a calm dedicated area for babies – 0–2 years.
Parents can actually sit and enjoy good coffee and pastries in the café area while the kids play.

Infamous 1 euro fairground is back!

The Au Paradis des Enfants re-opened its doors mid-February. On Spring days this fairground is a great place to head to, and even better, many rides are 1 euro a ride. Set in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Leisure Island there’s also loads more activities and green space to enjoy in the sunshine.

Little sailing boats are back in Jardin Luxembourg and Tuileries!

Les Voiliers du Luxembourg
Around since 1890, these little miniature sail boats have been sailed on the Jardin du Luxembourg basin. It’s a super fine and affordable very ‘Paris’ activity with kids under 6. Opening for the first time this year for the April holidays, from 1st April.
