Unfortunately Parisians can’t get enough of Easter egg hunts – here’s a list of those already sold out so you don’t need to waste time looking!

Thousands of children await this FREE annual Paris easter egg hunt, located at Bercy Village shopping area in the east of the city. Kids must spot 15 little rabbits hidden in shop windows. Once found, they’ll win a chocolate prize! No ticket required, bt first come, first served.

Tots City Guide recommends this amazing Easter Egg Hunt set at the picturesque Fermes de Gally. A family-friendly animal farm west of Paris. Book your afternoon slot, and explore the farm, take part in fun, short Easter-themed creative workshops, as well as the Easter Egg hunt spread over the fields that usually house the animals. Collect the colour combination required and then swap your eggs for chocolate ones!

TIP: When we’ve gone in the past, many eggs are a bit destroyed by the last few hours of the day, so aim to book an early slot if possible.

Activities suitable from 3 years, but it’s fun for younger siblings to tag along. Or to explore the farm with toddlers and babies.

The Paris Federation (Secours Populaire Français) is throwing its annual Solidarity Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 5, 2026. A fun, friendly day at Buttes-Chaumont Park, one of Paris’s beautiful green spaces. Along with the chocolate hunt, there’ll be loads of other activities including face painting, workshops, a raffle, games and more!

Tots City Guide recommends this less known Easter Sunday event in central Paris. Perfect for English speakers, it’s organised by ESM (English Speaking Mums). Expect decorations galore, lots of fun and games, and of course a big Easter Egg hunt!

Children (up to 12 years) can head to  UNESCO world heritage site Provins (1-1.1/2 hr from Paris). Head here for a true immersive escape with an Easter themed treasure hunt through the medieval city. Here 10,000 chocolate eggs have been hidden (!) Eggs are distributed by people dressed in medieval costume for pure immersion.

Tots City Guide recommends a visit to Château de Breteuil with young kids – at Christmas the palace is decorated from top to toe and Easter is set to be just as magical affair. On Easter weekend, an Easter egg hunt, along with other fun acitivities are planned (info to be announced soon!)

This Easter egg hunt is located in the ground of Abbaye de Royaumont – a breathtaking former Cistercian monastery. If you find the golden egg, you’ll win a very special prize! Book your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment.
