WHAT TO DO IN PARIS IN DECEMBER WITH KIDS UNDER 6

There are so many festive and fun activities with small kids in Paris this month… here’s some top ideas, from where to meet Santa in Paris, to Santa runs and a day in the Hippodrome

What could be more fun than watching 12,000 Santas racing the streets of Paris?!

Two locations, both on Sunday, 14th December:

  • D’Issy‑les‑Moulineaux – (The bigger, more famous run), avoid the finish line at Place de l’Hôtel de Ville where it will be busy and less enjoyable when watching with small kids
  • Puteaux (small, more family friendly race) With small kids, you can try watching along the promenade along the Seine where there’s some space.

A day out at the Hippodrome is a super affordable day out for the whole family, the cost to get in is super low, Entry is free, (but you need to download a free invitation / ticket HERE). Once you’re in there’s tons of fun kiddie activities to do, and over December it’s all Christmassy themed!

Coming up mid-December is the FREE magic themed event, there are workshops but these are for older kids (and all booked up now anyways!). Bt it could be fun to wander around and watch some magic.
