1. Balloon exhibition: Euphoria
This interactive balloon exhibition Euphoria (balloon museum) is the largest of its kind in the world and an absolute must-visit with young kids. Explore 20 balloon-themed artworks around Paris’ beautiful Grand Palais, from balloon-filled rooms, to inflatable obstacle, to probably the largest ball pit you’ve ever been in.

2. Disney100 Exhibition
Explore the world of Disney at this interactive exhibition: Disney100 , celebrating 100 years of the famous cartoon enterprise. Best for kiddies from 3+, who will enjoy watching loads of cartoons through the ages – it’s all there! From Mickey, the Aladdin, to The Lion King, Mary Poppins. Take a selfie with Goofy at the end, then sit and do your own Disney colouring to take home. Bear in mind, the exhibition is mainly screens, so if you don’t do TV with your kids yet, this may not be for you!
TIP: Queues can be a bit of wait in the beginning to get in, so be sure to use the toilets outside first, and aim to come as early as possible, e.g 9am, (or lunchtimes in France between 12-1 are usually also quiet times to queue skip too!)

3. Festivals du Parc Floral – musical festival for kids
Festivals du Parc Floral is a music festival just for kids, (from 4+). Although many events are for kids 6+, there are a few workshops 4 year olds + can enjoy too – check out the Festivals du Parc Floral programme here.

4. La Vasque de Paris 2024 / Olympic Caldron 2024
The Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Vasque 2024 (cauldron) is back in the Jardin du Tuileries this summer. It’s free to visit – but even better this time, you don’t need to book in advance to enter the Vasque zone in the park – just rock up!
TIP: There’s also lots of other cool things to do at The Tuileries with kids under 6, from outdoor trampolines, to a playground, and the interactive kids room at Musee de L’Orangerie.

5. Tuileries Funfair / Fête de l’été à Paris
There’s 60+ attractions to enjoy at this central Paris funfair. Although the surroundings are stunning, do bear in mind prices are as sky high as the rides (around 5-6 euros a go). So if you’re on a budget, steer the little ones away to the carousel in The Tuileries instead (it’s a bit more budget friendly at 3 euros a ride).
When: June 22 to August 24, 2025. Weekdays: 11am-11.45pm. Fridays, Saturdays and public holiday eves: 11am-0.45am.

6. Family swimming in the Seine at Grenelle
Facing the Ile aux Cygnes with views of the Eiffel Tower is this pop up secure pool – a very suitable swimming option for families and young kids.
Highlights include:
– Cool wooded area on the quay
– Supervised swimming and controlled water
– Changing rooms, showers, toilets available on site
When: 5th July-31st August.

8. Free outdoor swimming pool in the 20th arrondissement
Head over to Centre sportif Louis Lumière and cool down this summer in the free outdoor swimming pool, equipped with a solarium area with deckchairs and parasols for escaping the heat with little ones.
When: July 5 to August 31, 2025. Monday to Saturday , 10am to 9pm, and Sundays and public holidays, 10am to 6pm

9. Kid friendly Paris museums
On a rainy day, head to these kid-friendly museums in Paris, from The Louvre, to Musee D’Orsay – there are secret playrooms at all these famous institutions!
